Be Ready! by Elaine Davenport February 22- March 1, 2010

We’ve got to be ready,  Jesus will be here soon.  One thing that we can do is to keep a God Schedule.  That is doing things to provide you with the closeness that you desire, the  answers that you need, walking in His will.

Editor’s Note:  Every Day throughout this Lenten season; we will talk about characteristics that will help us to be more God like and more understanding of His heart bringing us closer.

Revere God-

To regard with awe, deference, and devotion.

Synonyms: revere1, worship, venerate, adore, idolize
These verbs mean to regard with the deepest respect, deference, and esteem. Revere suggests awe coupled with profound honor…
Worship implies reverent love and homage rendered to God…

Psalm 89:7 (King James Version)

7God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

We owe it all to God.    He saw us when we were in our mother’s womb.  He designed a world for us to be filled with the light.    Everytime the darkness came; He brought back the light to flood it out!  He sent His only son to exchange His Blood and guarantee our way into a the heavenly life eternal that He has promised us.  He’s faithful, He covers us, He’s our provider, our  waymaker, our compass, our revelation, His love for us is mighty and never ending.  He never sleeps nor slumbers.  He is always there…right there…right here; right now.

My reverence comes from my awestruck heart, my love filled eyes, my peace, He is my everything and I cannot Thank Him or worship Him enough.  I can never get enough of Him!

Prayer for the Week of October 1-7, 2007

O Righteous and Most Precious Father, Almighty God. It is my prayer that you Bless everyone reading this prayer today. I pray that they will increase their confidence and be firmly persuaded to study and believe Your Word. I pray that they will have clarity of mind in all of their decisions, I pray that they will come to know Your love for them and their future. You said: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health; even as thy soul prospereth in 111John 2.

I pray that their steps will be ordered by the Lord, that Your presence will go with them and You will give them rest. I pray that You will hold their right hand saying unto them: Fear not, I will help you. I pray that they will increase more and more them and their children. I pray that they will cast their burdens on you, knowing that you care for them. Father, strengthen hearts this day. I bind the spirit of confusion or fear and loose Godly wisdom and peace over each and every life in Jesus Name. Amen
