Not Simple…My Christmas Prayer! by E. Davenport December 25, 2011

Last night I learned a big big lesson.  Some things which had been overlooked came to a head.  When the dust settled; I was angry.   I wasn’t angry at God…or any person.  I was angry at myself and the devil.  Because I had glossed over things and not dealing truly with the problems, in fact, they had not gone away.

I was too disgusted to pray!   I had never been that way.  If only I could praise I would feel better, but the truth is…I did not think of that!

I decided to write out a Prayer Of Petition.  You see, a while ago I had ordered Jerry Savelle‘s Book The Prayer Of Petition and I had even read it, but it “looked” like too much work.

It was time for me to put this matter on the altar and write out a brief and present it to God.  I decided to do this BEFORE I prayed!  I had a lot on my heart.  It took two and a half hours!  Oh my goodness!   But, when I finished…I had a solid foundation and a renewed confidence that God would solve everything!  I was no longer angry.

My final petition printed out was 9 pages long!  In the end…there was a lot of Thanksgiving!   When I prayed…God assured me that Everything Was Going To Be Allright!   That was the prophecy that our Bishop Keith A. Butler and the  Prophet of God, Kenneth Copeland…both whom I adore greatly and I have not said that enough!

Prayer (Giving Your Last) Word For The Day! by Elaine Davenport Monday, October 5, 2009

In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive. Acts 20: 35

I was planning to take a trip down to Texas for a Faith Conference.  I had saved up my monies.  I had done all of the right things.  I had p\aid my plane fare months beforehand.  I had put aside my spending money and hotel fees.  Everything was just perfect.  Then I got a book in the mail from  a ministry in Russia.

They were asking for monies.  I’m going to be honest.  I said:  “I didn’t ask for them to send me this book.”  I decided not to even read it though I was curious.  It was a hardcover book.  One of my pet peeves was I hated for people to “presume” anything about me and my money.

I had a real tight budget at the time…I thought.  I was overcome with fear.  I wanted to obey, but giving up my only money seemed like such a stupid thing.  Would I do that for God?  It was a test for me.

After much prayer, I became full of peace.  It was all God’s idea; I could trust Him.

As I meditated in the Word of God over the next few days, I realized that I needed to send this ministry some money.  So, I asked God how much in my prayers.  Pretty soon, I kept hearing $500.00.

WHAT?  That was the exact amount I had saved for my trip though I was planning to add more.  My trip was just a little over 30 days away.  I began to pray…I said:  “Lord, if You want me to sow $500.00 into this ministry…you’re going to have to send it.

I’m not going to lie…it did not come.

I began to thank God for choosing me to be an example.  No one would know but me and God.  I contined to pray and meditate in the bible.  I confessed the Word over myself.  Love began to manifest in my spirit.  All of a sudden I had great compassion for what God would do in Russia.  I followed the Holy Spirit and I sowed the seed.     That was right around the time that I started this site.  One turned into two and now nine sites later, I still follow God’s plan.  I never dreamed it would be this big.  Never.

I went to the bank, got the money out.  I told no one.  I sent it to Russia.

As soon as I sent it…weird stuff began to happen.  All of my monies came and more besides.  I had enough to cover myself and another friend for the trip.  It was the most phenomenal trip and my friends threw me a surprise Birthday party and gave me more money while on the trip.  I had never had a birthday party in my life before that!  That was the year of my greatest Overflow all because I obeyed.

What Kind Of Miracle Do You Need? by Elaine Davenport Tuesday, June 30, 2003

My own nephew needed a miracle yesterday.  In my heart of hearts I was pulling for him.  Then he made it all go away with his mouth.  You see, he had a ticket and it was time for him to go to court.  He didn’t pray, but he was confident in his own plan…a man made plan.
I told him,

“I’ll be praying for you today.  We speak wholeness into your life.  We release your angels to go out to prosper your way!  God says you have the victory.   You are the Blessed!  You are empowered to prosper!  This is a fact.  HALLELUJAH!….”  I declared

“I don’t believe all that.   Sorry Auntie.”

“Okay, I declared…so be it.  Have it your way.”

I left it alone.  It was time for a faith lesson.

He came home later.  Things did not go well.   He got the fruits of his unbelief.

He absolutely positively needed a miracle.  He didn’t get one.  Do I believe that he could have?  You better believe it.  It happens to me and my friends everyday as we stretch our faith.

So…my friend do you need a miracle?  If you do; let me tell you now that God help.   All He needs is your prayers, your faith.

One of the greatest miracles in the Bible was when God caused Moses to have water pour out of a rock.

Here’s the story:

Exodus 17

1ALL THE congregation of the Israelites moved on from the Wilderness of Sin by stages, according to the commandment of the Lord, and encamped at Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.

2Therefore, the people contended with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you find fault with me? Why do you tempt the Lord and try His patience?

3But the people thirsted there for water, and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to kill us and our children and livestock with thirst?

4So Moses cried to the Lord, What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me.

5And the Lord said to Moses, Pass on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel; and take in your hand the rod with which you smote the river [Nile], and go.

6Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at [Mount] Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.(A)

7He called the place Massah [proof ] and Meribah [contention] because of the faultfinding of the Israelites and because they tempted and tried the patience of the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us or not?

Now, the children of Israel were God’s chosen ones and they went through Moses knowing he had a direct line to God.   Moses interceded for them and God performed a miracle through him to get water to the Israelites.

In this age, we can have a direct pipeline to God.  We don’t “have” to go through anyone to talk to Him because He seeks to have a personal relationship with each one of us.  If you’re not doing that, you’re missing out on something bib.  Really you are.
