A Prayer For WordPress by Elaine Davenport (Friday, November 30, 2007)

I want to explain why I am writing a prayer for our fine people who work for and keep WordPress going. I am thankful to them. I don’t know them. You see, I had Blogs somewhere else and the traffic was dribbling in despite my greatest efforts. After I moved; three weeks didn’t go by and I began to see stats like I never had before. This is not an advertisement. It’s all free. I am overjoyed! I had paid my web designer $1100 and he was unable to finish. He’s a good guy it just worked out that way and then I found WordPress. Who knew? I didn’t. I smell food. I can’t eat today. This is hard. Every support question has been answered. I’m not a new technology person or an engineer; just a thankful prayer warrior. Because some folks put this all together; people are being Blessed not only by using the tools available but but words that are being said. I pray a Blessing over the lives of everyone on the Word Press staff and their families.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for this Blessed day that You have made. Thank You for showing that You are a God of Divine appointments and connections. I lift up every single person at WordPress this day and I ask You to Bless them mightily! It is my prayer that You’ll open doors to them that have been closed in times past. I pray that they will be in health and that their problems will become invisible. I pray that the eyes of their understanding will become enlightened as it says in the Book of Ephesians. I pray that for them burdens will be removed and yokes will be destroyed because of the anointing. I pray that they will have great peace as they operate in Godly wisdom with integrity in all of their affairs. I pray that their marriages will be healed. I pray that their equipment will function perfectly and that their business will begin to thrive like never before. Father let the laborers be worthy of their hire. If I’ve left out anything that is important to them corporately or individually; I’m asking You to cover it and I thank You for that. I ask in all in the Name of Jesus Amen

A Special Prayer For People With Problems….by Elaine Davenport (Friday, November 23, 2007)

prayinghands.jpg

Dearest Father God, I lift up my brothers and sister this day and I stand in prayer agreement with them. We cast all of their cares on You knowing that You care for them. You said in Your Word: Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers; we thank You that today their souls, their minds, their wills, their emotions will prosper as well as their health will prosper. We decree that they will prosper financially and that they will prosper in favor. We pray that your favor that is the favor of God will encompass them as a shield. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and everything that is theirs. We release their angels to go out before them to prosper their way.

Father, we lift up any concern that anyone has this day. Today, they may have a heavy weight on them, but we declare that after this prayer they will feel a lightness because the know deep in their hearts that they gave the care to you. We pray that You will supernaturally correct the problem. We know that the solution doesn’t have to appear before our eyes and we know that we don’t have to know exactly how. We can have peace today that You will turn things around because we trust in You. Thank You for going before us and making the crooked places straight. Father, I’m asking You to pour Your love on each person that is in need. We thank You and ask it all in the mighty authority of Jesus the Anointed One. Amen.

In these troubled times; a Prayer for You by Elaine Davenport (October 29th- November 3rd, 2007)

Heavenly Father, we lift You up this day and we rejoice! I humbly beseech You on behalf of every person that reads and prays this prayer. I thank You Father that You see each and every one as an individual and that their heart is touched to seek a closer relationship with You. Father, we pray that burdens are removed and yokes are destroyed because of the anointing. We pray Father that each and every one can receive peace in their spirits and that they can understand that they are spirits who live in a body and that they have a soul which is linked to their mind, their will and their emotions.

I pray for them and with them this day that their spirit man or woman will rise and take ascendancy in their lives. I ask You Father to send worthy laborers to cross their paths to interact with them and to minister to them. I thank You that when that happens they will be mindful of You and will not hesitate to give You the glory, the honor and the praise.

Father, this day, our beloved has a need, sometimes great, sometimes seemingly small; yet that need is pressing upon their mind and their heart. If it is a burden to them, I’m asking You to receive that burden from them. Your Word says that we are to cast our cares upon You knowing that you can take it and that You can handle it and

Father, we are asking You to set them free from any bondage. In the authority of Jesus, we bind any spirits of confusion, error,
antichrist, evil, fear, heaviness or anything that exalteth itself against the knowledge of Christ and we loose Godly wisdom and peace in every situation. We declare that each person praying this prayer will remain in faith until they see victory in compliance with Your Word and Your will for their lives. Teach us to be willing and obedient to your command. In Jesus Name we pray; Amen.

Prayer For Trusting in God

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to bring you our Prayer petitions. We are concerned and challenged LORD but in the midst of it all, You were on our mind. The concerns that we speaks about are: (you fill in) _______________, ___________________, and ________________________.
Father, your Word says that we will be far from oppression and we should not fear terror for it shall not come near us. (Isa 54:14) You said that we would be established in righteousness. You said that if they gather together against us that they would surely fall. You said that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that ANY tongue that rises against us; we would condemn. (Isa 55: 10-12)

You said for 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Father, you have not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and of love and a sound mind. Father, your Word says trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understanding so we put

our trust in you and will not go by what we can reason in our head but instead we will walk by faith and not by sight knowing that You will lead us beside the restful waters all the while refreshing our minds and emotions regarding these matters that confront and challenge us today.

We thank you Father for your love, your wisdom, Your guidance, Your peace, and we look to you for comfort because we love You and trust You. Your Word is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet. You said: Do not let your heart be troubled, (John 14: 26, You said my presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest. You said I will compass thee about with favor as a shield, you said I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight, I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron. Thank you Father that we have great cause to rejoice in your Word and to delight herself/himself in You. In Jesus Name we ask and pray. AMEN.

Say a little prayer today by Elaine Davenport (Monday, June 4, 2007)

This is so amazing! The other night, I was checking my site statistics at one of my Blog sites. I am able to see many things and since I love analysis, it’s even more interesting. Well, one of my sites had not had any new posts because I was so busy, but I had noted that even when I was posting it still wasn’t that busy. I still plan to post and continue, no matter what happens. You know, when it snows or rains, people change their plans, but I am unaffected by faith of what happens like a lack of traffic; but I STILL said a prayer. I told the Lord: “Lord, you told me to do this, please send some people to this site, in Jesus Name and I thank you ” After that, I forgot about it. I have a busy schedule and currently in a whirlwind that I’ve expected.

I checked those stats today and God sent MORE people than had ever been there before. God is so faithful, so Amazing. So Awesome. I just love Him and I am Thankful.

A PRAYER FOR THE COMMUNITY AFFECTED BY THE VIRGINIA TECH MASSACRE!

I am asking you if you are reading this to join us in agreement in prayer regarding the events that occurred at the Virginia Techcollege campus; knowing that God honors our prayers.

Heavenly Father, we stand before your throne this day in the Name of Jesus. We bind the spirit of confusion and contention on the Virginia Tech campus as people look to point a finger for who might be the blame. We loose Godly peace and comfort in that environment. Thank you for dispersing angels to that place to cover that community. We also bind the spirit of fear in that place.

Please comfort those families whose loved ones who have been lost or injured! We pray that people will begin to form collaborative efforts to show those families that they are loved; just like they did for New York City victims and for the Hurricane Katrina victims.

We pray for the administrators that they will be able to handle all of the pressure and rise to the occasion. We pray for that police department; that their actions are not second guessed. We thank you for their dedication and service. We pray for each and every student, some have lost friends, family, a sense of security and some have lost confidence. We pray that their hearts will be strengthened.

We pray for that community; that they will pour forth to minister to those students. Where are all the people who come rushing forth in a crisis Lord; please send them forth!

We also pray for the family of the shooter: Cho Seung-Hui. We pray that they will not be ridiculed; but that the truth will come out. We pray that families who have children who are challenged with mental illnesses will pay more attention to them and gain wisdom about getting them healed and not just medicated.

We plead the blood of Jesus over the Va. Tech campus and every single college campus or school in this country. We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices. So we decree right now that there will not be another occasion like this, not on our watch.

We declare that the saints of God will have an advantage to minister the Word of God throughout the land so that people will know of Your mighty love for them.

We know that Your Word cannot return unto you void; for You are not a man that you should lie.

We will not let our guard down; so from this day forth we agree to pray For our country and it’s people. In Jesus Name. AMEN
