When something bad happens with the weather; they blame God.  Whether it be a flood, a tornado, a typhoon, an earthquake or  whatever; they blame Him.  I was watching the news one day and a woman had been killed by two loose dogs and someone in her family was saying something like God’s really going to have to explain this.

My brother once told me; look how God punished Job. I looked at him and said:  “You’re serious?”  “God didn’t attack Job.  Satan did.  I then encouraged hom to go and read the Book of Job.

My son once took an English class from a ridiculous professor who “sounded”  like an atheist or  agnostic who had intimidated every Christian in the class with a GRAND MISINTERPRETATION of the Book of Job!

He came home and said:  “Ma, he knew the bible better than this Christian lady in the class!” I laughed:  Honey the devil knows the bible…he was quoting the scriptures to Jesus and trying to tell Eve what God said…twisted of course, but it got past her and look at the price…but anyways!

If you’re facing adversity; do not blame God.  He is a problem solver; not a terrorist or calamity giver!  That is not his nature.

8Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

5Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13: 5
