For years, the banking system was like a baby bottle for many of us…but it’s past time to be weaned from that bottle!  That bottle has no loyalty.  It is not designed to reward you.

God’s system is different.

Even if the bank gives it a fancy name…finding legitimate ways to overcharge customers is robbery.    They need prayer.  Pray for them to repent and for God to have mercy.  At this rate, they will need  another bail out soon; and there will be no public sympathy it seems.  There was a huge protest today in Chicago, the likes that none of us have ever seen regarding the huge interest being charged on banking credit cards as reported by ABC’s World News Tonight.

I am  amazed at a remarkable trend that is going on.    Even though the American economy is depressed and it is hurting so many families that are dependent on “that” system;  many merchants are actually going up on their prices.

But, the group that has emerged forcing so many of us into complete shock (whether we are victimized by them or simply an observer are the banks)

I don’t understand; didn’t we just bail them out?  What are they doing?  What are they thinking?  They must think that we are all powerless.  They must think that the government is ineffective.    Obviously a sign of their respect for the Federal bailout was the hefty bonuses awarded to banking officers etc.; but we all thought that was the end of it.  In fact, it’s only the beginning.

It should have been a long   time ago that we should have SHOUTED:  ENOUGH!!!

The exorbitant NSF fees are beyond ridiculous.  They have only been successful in our shame and guilt over not having enough funds in there in the first place.  Ha!

It’s time for us to all band together and pray about it!   I MEAN REALLY PRAY!!

Please pray for our Financial Institutions to see the errors of their ways.

Dearest Father,

I love you soo much that my eyes fill with tears as I think of Your goodness and Your love.  The depths of my heart leap when I think of Your magnificence and Your splendor.  The plan that You’ve designed for me is so great, so incredible beyond my earthly comprehension.  I am humbled and I thank You for Your patience with me.  I’ve walked this walk  so many miles; yet I don’t feel like a wearied soldier…I am fresh and new facing each day looking for new places to conquer and people to meet who have been sent by You.

Help me to prove myself worthy as I rejoice in You.  Teach me more and more as You increase me.  I promise always to stay close and I thank You for Your drawing power.  I love You far too much to let go.  I shall not do that thing.  My life before  being with You day in and day out was nothing but a sham and I cannot accept less than I have with You now.    You are first and what You’ve called for me to do is first.

I want to go and do what You’ve told me to do and no one else.  I want to carry out Your plans and not slip or to get off of the path You’ve designed for me to be on.  I will not be deterred by strong feelings or the things that go on in the world around me.  Teach me not to judge but to love and to pray for others and to love them with an insatiable love; the kind that never fails no matter what.  Continue to give me wisdom and peace and understanding beyond all earthly comprehension.  I am so thankful.  For Christ’s sake I pray.  Amen.

I was planning to take a trip down to Texas for a Faith Conference.  I had saved up my monies.  I had done all of the right things.  I had p\aid my plane fare months beforehand.  I had put aside my spending money and hotel fees.  Everything was just perfect.  Then I got a book in the mail from  a ministry in Russia.

They were asking for monies.  I’m going to be honest.  I said:  “I didn’t ask for them to send me this book.”  I decided not to even read it though I was curious.  It was a hardcover book.  One of my pet peeves was I hated for people to “presume” anything about me and my money.

I had a real tight budget at the time…I thought.  I was overcome with fear.  I wanted to obey, but giving up my only money seemed like such a stupid thing.  Would I do that for God?  It was a test for me.

After much prayer, I became full of peace.  It was all God’s idea; I could trust Him.

As I meditated in the Word of God over the next few days, I realized that I needed to send this ministry some money.  So, I asked God how much in my prayers.  Pretty soon, I kept hearing $500.00.

WHAT?  That was the exact amount I had saved for my trip though I was planning to add more.  My trip was just a little over 30 days away.  I began to pray…I said:  “Lord, if You want me to sow $500.00 into this ministry…you’re going to have to send it.

I’m not going to lie…it did not come.

I began to thank God for choosing me to be an example.  No one would know but me and God.  I contined to pray and meditate in the bible.  I confessed the Word over myself.  Love began to manifest in my spirit.  All of a sudden I had great compassion for what God would do in Russia.  I followed the Holy Spirit and I sowed the seed.     That was right around the time that I started this site.  One turned into two and now nine sites later, I still follow God’s plan.  I never dreamed it would be this big.  Never.

I went to the bank, got the money out.  I told no one.  I sent it to Russia.

As soon as I sent it…weird stuff began to happen.  All of my monies came and more besides.  I had enough to cover myself and another friend for the trip.  It was the most phenomenal trip and my friends threw me a surprise Birthday party and gave me more money while on the trip.  I had never had a birthday party in my life before that!  That was the year of my greatest Overflow all because I obeyed.
